Location

  • Location: Bintulu Division is located on the northwest coast of Sarawak, between Sibu and Miri. It is an important industrial hub and home to Malaysia’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry.

    • Originally a small fishing village, Bintulu developed rapidly in the 1970s due to the discovery of offshore natural gas.

    • It is now home to one of the world’s largest LNG production facilities.
