Hulu Perak
Hulu Perak is the largest district in Perak, covering a vast area of highlands, lakes, and forests in the northern part of the state. Centered around Gerik, the district is often called the “Gateway to the Belum-Temenggor Rainforest,” one of the oldest rainforests in the world. Rich in biodiversity, Hulu Perak is a paradise for eco-tourism, offering untouched natural landscapes, waterfalls, and wildlife. It is also strategically located along the East–West Highway, connecting Perak to Kelantan and Kedah.
