Hulu Perak
Location
Location: Northeastern Perak, bordering Thailand and Kelantan.
Historical Background: Hulu Perak is one of the least developed districts in Perak, rich in forests, lakes, and indigenous Orang Asli settlements. It was a strategic area during the Malayan Emergency (1948–1960) due to its dense jungles. The district is known for its hydroelectric power plants and eco-tourism.
